Introduction | Dzongri Hike is the shorter version of the Kanchenjunga National Park trek in West Sikkim, leading to Goechala at 5000 meters. The trek's highlight is to reach Dzongri Top at 4000 meters, from where you get an unforgettable sunrise view over the Kanchenjunga Massif. We start the trek from Yuksom – a small village in West Sikkim, where the motorable road ends, and soon we reach the core of Kanchenjunga Biosphere Reserve, a critical biome in the higher Himalayas. We will stay in camps in Sachen, Tshokha and Dzongri and return through the same trail again in 4 to 5 days during the hike.
