Village Activity - The primary purpose of Kewzing village tourism is to offer an authentic village life experience to travellers. During your stay, you can participate in several exciting activities. A full-day village walks with your local guide will expose you to the traditional agricultural practices as you walk through the village's core and meet local people in the terraced cultivation land, mainly cardamom and buckwheat cultivation. You can also learn about the cooking process and prepare some traditional food.
Nature Walk and bird watching - Kewzing and its surrounding areas offer an excellent birding experience. A day hike to Maenam La Sanctuary at above 3000 meters will be fascinating. With more than 200 species recorded from this sanctuary, this area is under an Important Bird Area (IBA). The key species found here are Satyr Tragopan – the state bird of Sikkim, Fire-tailed Myzornis, Brown wood owl. Along with birds, the sanctuary is also known for Red Panda, and sighting is very much possible if you accompany it with the proper guide.

Bon Monastery is the only one of its kind in Sikkim, which practices Shamanism. It is believed that Bon practice was an integral part of Tibet before Buddhism flourished. It came to Sikkim recently, and the Bon Monastery was built in Kewzing village in 1980. The Bon Monastery is not only a place for practising religious faith, but it is now an integral part of the Bon followers, who engage themselves in providing education to the underprivileged children.
Rabangla in South Sikkim, at an altitude of 2200 meters, is an important Pass and trade centre between East and West Sikkim. A picturesque village with a cold temperature, Rabangla offers brilliant views of the Greater Himalayan Snow Ranges' high mountain peaks.
